I received this email recently.
Email title was: Your iCloud Membership has expired!
From was icloud.. but no email
Body of email was:
You have reached your storage limit
Dear Customer,
Your iCloud storage is full.
But, as part of our loyalty program,
you can now receive an additional 50 GB for free before the files on your iCloud Drive are deleted.
Receive 50 GB (button)
this is most likely a scam.
1. from email address is suspicious
2. Apple does not delete files from your icloud even when it is full
3. Apple does not offer free GB for icloud. They never offer this.
4. They want to get your apple id and apple password probably.
Beware and be careful.
