If you've accidentally removed an app from your home screen on your iphone or ipad, here are the instructions to add it back to the home screen.

1. From the home screen
2. Swipe to the left. Keep on doing this multiple times.
3. When you swipe left enough, you will hit the "App Library". This is where all apps are displayed (even ones that have been hidden or deleted or removed from the home screen)
4. At the top, type your app that you accidentally removed.
5. Now you can press and hold the icon of the app until... a popup appears.
6. Now click on "Add to Home Screen"
VOILA done.

There are better tutorials, but I realized while explaining something to a commenter that maybe I was misunderstanding what they meant by "my app was hidden"

NOTE: Alternatively, I believe you can just delete the app and then re-install the app. This should restore it to the home screen. I will have to give that a try.
