Epsilon Hits Major Hurricane Status in the Atlantic

Hurricane Epsilon has been rapidly intensifying over the course of the day, and is now a major hurricane as of the latest National Hurricane Center advisory. Epsilon is the furthest east forming major hurricane in modern cyclone records.

Bermuda remains under a tropical storm warning where they may feel the superficial impacts of Epsilon despite the storm being well out to sea. There is no CDPS Rating for Bermuda, however, significant rainfall can still impact Bermuda and marine traffic crossing the central Atlantic.
