Tokivske Falls from above · Ukraїner
Tokivske Falls, formed by the river Kamianka halfway between Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih, are a rare natural phenomenon for the Ukrainian steppe. The river bank is made up of grey and red granite boulders, creating small-scale rapids. Granite has been extracted here since the end of the 19th century and the activity has developed to an industrial scale.
