Predator just Released the Best DDR5 Memory - Hermes RGB Unboxing & Overclocking to 8750MHz

Predator storage is bringing out some very interesting memory kits this generation in their DDR5 lineup. Predator is actually the high performance/gaming brand owned by Acer. This is the first time I test any desktop computer memory from Acer and it is interesting to see how it compares to the alternatives from the more known manufacturers.

The Hermes lineup from Predator feature frequencies from DDR5-6800 to 8000, so pretty much in line compared to other vendors. Even 6800 with CL32 is already a solid sign that the kit uses Hynix A-Die memory IC as that configuration is not easy to achieve with Hynix M-Die.

The overall result with the Hermes memory kit was outstanding. Test speeds up to DDR5-8750, even close to 8800 with CL34-47-42 2T and memory voltage of only 1.55 is a really fantastic result and much better than what I ever did in the past. The highest configuration I managed to pass in HCI Memtest for 24/7 style overclocking was DDR5-8400 with exactly the same timing configuration, but lowered memory voltage of 1.5v, which is a very mild increase from the stock voltage levels, and still certainly safe to be used in 24/7 operation.
