YOUTUBE THRIFT & ANTIQUE VINTAGE CHANNELS COLLIDE! | RESELLERS MEET

So fun to meet and shop with someone who gets what you do! @Yvon • Thrifty Rich and I are finally meeting after discovering each others' YouTube channels, and she's invited me for a shop-along at one of the nation's largest antique malls.

Yvon has a knack for thrifting, a rapidly developing eye for vintage and lot of resale experience, and we find lots of fun things together here! We manage to spend $500 between the two of us in just a few hours, and you're invited to share the fun with us.

Brass Armadillo is a chain of jumbo-sized antique & vintage malls in a handful of mid-American cities, and Denver (Wheat Ridge) is a must-pick place every time I come through the Rockies. We spot a good 70's fabric print, a deco chocolate dispenser and a Bauhaus designer table right away, but keep our powder dry until we find a Haeger fishbowl, a duck from California and a garden gate to kick off our growing resale piles.

Colorado was home to some important producers whose are now collectible! Van Briggle lamps with all their original factory-made shades tell a good story, as does the strange tale of how Coors Beer got into the pottery business. Vail's discovery as a ski destination reflects in a vintage regional artist's depiction from 1963.

We wander the mall and fill our cars with fun finds...Yvon pulls a $25 studio vase with a wild design and a signature that makes it worth three times the price, while I convince her to put down a Murano mushroom and then buy it myself...I swear that's not as bad as it sounds, watch the video to understand why! We had a great day together, and we're invited to come back and shop the thrift shops with her in my next video.
