FLEA MARKET FINDS | VINTAGE & ANTIQUE SHOPPING PLUS HAUL

More finds, more fun from flea markets now reopened in Kentucky! We find a fresh outdoor flea market outside a big antique mall in Franklin, then go back to Luke’s Town & Country Flea Market in Greenville to finish their last big indoor space.

Bright’s Antique World is a giant mall (to be shown in a future video), and their monthly flea market holds an interesting array of antique and vintage goodies. Great buys on furniture and some fun vintage nodders (bobbleheads in today’s parlance) pop up among Tonka trucks, advertising and glass, radios and a lot more fun items with visual appeal. At this market, I show and tell about what I’m buying as it happens.

After a good morning there, it’s back to Luke’s, where the group building holds a cluster of permanent flea market spaces. Salt and peppers and saltpeter vie for attention, along with elegant glass, tableware and pottery. Skeleton nodders, native head vases and a device that strikes fear in the heart of your goat add to the variety in the market, while an inconspicuous coffeepot turns out to be a surprising designer find. We also talk about how to save chrome when surface rust appears.

Time to empty the car of the goodies we find, giving us a chance to do a quick haul review and share thoughts on why I bought and what I think will come of my purchases! The finds from both videos at Luke’s merit review, from Victorian sleeve crimpers and a funky shoe shelf to shiny signed costume jewelry and a sharp looking 1960s pulled vase.
