Apply for GLOBAL ENTRY // What to know about the hassle and the rewards

If you travel even once a year internationally, I would suggest spending the $100 on the Global Entry application.
It *includes* TSA Precheck privileges, which allow you to breeze through checkpoints without taking your shoes off or your liquids out.

Be prepared for a lengthy process, depending on where you live.
Global Entry approval requires a background check, and an in-person interview. Customs & Border Protection is booking those interviews months out, so the sooner you apply, the better!
