Church of Our Saviour, Copenhagen: Climb the Spire

The Church of Our Saviour in Copenhagen is home to one of the city's most famous attractions.
Americans may know it by its nickname: The Stairway to Heaven.

You can climb the 400 steps up the Church of Our Saviour's spire most months of the year. At 90 meters tall, it towers over most buildings in Copenhagen.
The Church of Our Saviour's tower was built in the 1750s. You'll find strange surprises and church relics as you walk up the old, narrow interior wooden steps.
The spiral staircase outside narrows even further as you reach the peak!
