Old rusty apple peeler - Restoration

Today's part will be about the renovation of an old apple peeler. I bought this beautiful piece of our history on the auction server on the internet.
I've repaired one in the past, but this one is much more interesting.

05:11 Put all the parts in a container of water and sodium hydroxide. Wear protective equipment as sodium hydroxide is corrosive!
06:01 After 24 hours of leaching, clean all parts with a brush.
07:00 After drying, the steel disc comes on.
08:05 To align the heads of the screws I chose a drill and sandpaper P240 and higher.
09:40 Polishing with a rag wheel and abrasive paste followed.
11:15 Glue the polished parts with tape.
11:46 I applied a tannin rust remover on the prepared parts.
12:42 After the rust remover dried, the primer followed.
12:53 While the primer will dry, clean the wooden hand with sandpaper P240 and higher and apply shellac.
13:23 Primer is dry and I can spray the peeler with the top two-component paint.
14:33 I used chrome spray to color the inscription of the peeler and I applied a cotton swab after spraying.
14:53 We have the parts ready and we can set up the whole apple peeler.

20:30 Test :) You can peel both apples and potatoes :)
