Restoration - Rusty Stuck Coil winding Machine | Electric Tool Restoration

In this video, I'm restoring a rusty and stuck coil winding machine! The winding machine was very rusted, and the counter meter was not working properly. And the screw to connect it to the table was missing. In the first inspection, I noticed that the coil winding machine's mechanism was stuck. Time to disassemble this rusty coil winding machine! The disassembly was a little tricky because of all the rust. After disassembly, I gave all the rusted and greased parts a nice bath to remove the loose rust and dust in gasoline and degreaser. the next step was to remove thick rust from the coil winding machine's surface. Then all parts ( gears, shafts, etc.) got wire brushed. After those processes, the parts were rust-free and free of all grease.
The next big step was to repair the counter meter. A big part of the restoration was filing away those casting marks and cleaning the surface with body filler.

I filled every bigger area of the metal part with body filler and sanded it down again to make sure the surfaces are very smooth.

The next step was to give the rusty coil winding machine a nice paint job.
For the paint job I chose blue and gave the stuck coil winding machine a complete new paint job including a primer, the paint, and a clear coat.
While the paint job dries, I had time to restore the small parts (screw, bolts, pins, etc.) I cleaned and sanded them, and gave them a nice polish for a good finish. All parts restored now,

So it was time to reassemble the coil winding machine. Every part got a good load of grease. After everything was reassembled and the coil winding machine restoration was mostly done, In the final test I had to wind the coil and as you have been seen in the video above the counter meter was working well.
End of story: the very rusted and stuck coil winding machine becomes a new-looking well working!
