There's been a lot more awareness around sexual assault and "me too" recently, but I want to bring you back to the early 2000s, when little boys like me didn't want to burden their parents by telling them that something they didn't want happened. And no child should ever feel guilty or embarrassed to voice not wanting to be touched by an adult a certain way. Honestly, I consider this very gray area for me at the time because I truly think my parents would've just brushed it off. Perhaps my mom would take it seriously if I presented it in a more serious way (or an emotional angle), but "no means no" no matter what anyone personally thinks should be tolerated or not.
