Sausage and Broccoli Rabe Hero

Seared Italian sausage, garlic sauteed broccoli rabe, melted fresh mozzarella, and tangy cherry peppers come together to form the best sub/hoagie/grinder or hero! This Italian sausage sandwich is easy to make and can be scaled up to feed a bunch of people. I hope you enjoy this broccoli rabe and Italian sausage sub!

INGREDIENTS (makes two large subs)
- 1 pound sweet fennel Italian sausage
- ½ pound sauteed broccoli rabe
- ¼ cup cherry peppers - sliced - use more to taste
- ½ pound fresh mozzarella cheese - sliced
- 2 large hero/sub rolls

TIP - drizzle some of the cherry pepper vinegar and olive oil onto the sub
