A Little Update On How My New Algae Eaters Are Settling Into Their New 12 Gallon Tank!

The horned nerite snails seemed to settle in as soon as they were placed in the tank and they went off exploring and eating any algae they found along the way.

My yellow neocaridina shrimp spread out over the tank and are currently eating algae on the plants, driftwood, rocks, and substrate without issue.

I really do think that neocaridina is an underrated algae eater and my cherry shrimp in my 8 gallon tank helped to deal with the algae growing on my java moss within days.

The amano shrimp did seem a little shy at first and they hid for the majority of the day but they are out and about now eating algae on most surfaces.

So far so good, but I will post an update in a week to show if they have made a difference in the algae in the tank or not.
