A47 - Swaffham to Necton

The A47 runs for 158 miles/254 km from the city of Birmingham to Lowestoft on the east coast, also connecting the cities of Leicester, Peterborough and Norwich. The A47 in Lowestoft is the UK's most easterly classified road. In Norfolk the A47 is mainly single carriageway with a few isolated dual carriageway improvements, with the longest being the Norwich southern bypass. The single carriageway sections are busy and have a high proportion of HGV and agricultural vehicle traffic, and some improvements have been planned and proposed.

This video shows an eastbound journey along the A47 in Norfolk, from the junction for the A1065 on the Swaffham bypass, to Necton.
