The history and behind the scenes of the Disneyland Railroad - Walking with Walt tour 1

Our award winning history of Walt Disney's railroads! We start in Walt Disney's apartment on Main Street above the firehouse. Then take a tour of the shops and a cab ride in the #2 locomotive. Also a caboose hop on Retlaw 2, the freight train pulled by the #1 locomotive, CK Holiday.

We also tour the Grizzly Flats Railroad of Ward Kimball, the forerunner of the Disneyland Railroad. Here we see the locomotives of Ward Kimball and the locomotive of Gerald Best, the Olomana.

We also travel to the Pacific Coast Railroad in Santa Margareta to see Rob Rossi's railroad to see the 4 old Disneyland coaches from Retlaw 1. And tour the Lilly Bell parlor car on the Disneyland Railroad, the only Retlaw 1 car still at Disneyland.

On our tour of the shops we get to see all 5 Disneyland locomotives and all 4 trains.

We finish with the Justi Creek railroad of John Lasseter and the opening of the new Disneyland railroad just outside of Star Wars Land. John Lasseter opens the new track by pulling Ward Kimball's train with his locomotive over the new railroad!
