Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World located in Zimbabwe in Africa

A visit to the Victoria falls is done as a day excursion or a couple of days while with us on a Wildlife Photographic Safari in The Chobe reserve.

The Falls are 1,708 meters wide and 108 meters high.

First seen by European eyes when Dr David Livingstone discovered them in 1855. He honored the Queen of England and named the amazing falls, Victoria Falls. Dr Livingstone stood upon what is now known as Livingstone Island, a small outcrop of land at the edge of the Falls, in Livingstone, Zambia.

While known as the world’s largest waterfall Victoria Falls is neither the highest (Angel Falls) nor the widest (Khone Falls). However, it is the largest curtain of falling water on the planet, one and a half times wider than Niagra Falls and twice as high.
