Three Male Lions marking territory, Lone Lioness Satara Camp Kruger Park

On exiting the Satara Camp early morning game drive we spotted a Hyena and Jackal scavaging on some leftovers.

Just a few hundred meters up the road a Wildebeest suddenly made a warning call. On arrival, we got the three Male Lions, Casper's brothers, who were seen marking territory close to Satara Camp in Kruger National Park.

After they despaired we tried our luck on the S100 road and had no luck. So we return to camp for breakfast on our way back big was the surprise a Lone Lioness was lying next to the road close to camp.

We spent some time with her before she got up and continues into a very thick bush so we have a suspicion that little lion cubs are in that thicket as she was showing lactating signs.
