The third leg of the Joshua Tree Tour was a bumpy one, with Bono largely varying in his vocal abilities (and guitar playing abilities after dislocating his shoulder in Washington). This show unfortunately falls on the lower end of the broad spectrum that is Bono's vocal shape on this leg. Starting alright and progressively getting worse, the man can barely sing by the time the encore rolls around, leading the band to put an end to the show early, as they end on With Or Without You to save Bono from suffering through 40. Bono still makes up for this by snippetting their beloved closer on the formerly mentioned 1987 hit, which, doubled with some great playing from Edge makes for quite a solid performance, and one of the better songs tonight. Exit is also pretty great here due to being full of snippets, but that's all really, most of this show is a very rough listen, saved only in places by some snippets and enjoyable musicianship.
