U2 - Live in Los Angeles, 6th June 1986

Audience Recording
Sound quality: A-
The second show of the Conspiracy of Hope tour has yet another great audience recording to go alongside it. This is the first show to feature MLK as the opener, replacing C'mon Everybody which opened Self Aid as well as the opening night in San Francisco. Strangely, for this show's length, it features multiple instances of crowd members coming up on stage - during both Pride and Bad - which draws out both songs, particularly Bad. With that aside, this is once again a very strong performance, especially for Bono which is a standard for 1986 shows. Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Year's Day are also very strong versions, and are both arguably the best versions on the mini tour. Lou Reed joins the band for Sun City just like on the rest of the tour, as do the rest of the Conspiracy of Hope line up on I Shall Be Released. Once again shoutout to my man spida for making the thumbnail.
1. MLK - 0:25
2. Pride (In the Name of Love) - 1:33
3. New Year's Day - 6:05
4. Sunday Bloody Sunday - 12:00
5. Maggie's Farm - 17:26
6. Help! - 24:20
7. Bad - 26:32
8. Sun City - 37:29 - with Lou Reed
9. I Shall Be Released - 41:15 - with Joan Baez, The Neville Brothers, Lou Reed, Jackson Browne, Peter Gabriel, Bryan Adams and Sting
