This is my arrangement of "The Battle" from Ridley Scott's epic movie "Gladiator" featuring Russell Crowe. "The Battle" track from the Gladiator Soundtrack is 10 minutes and 2 seconds long. For my guitar arrangement I just did the last minute and 23 seconds of the track (plus a little intro capturing the timpani part) at the end of the battle shortly before Maximus and the Roman army achieve victory over the Germanic tribes. Hans Zimmer's melody and harmony for this part is simply beautiful and very emotional pulling hard on the heartstrings. This scene and it's accompanying music is one of my top favorite scenes of all time for all movies. I hope you enjoy my arrangement and performance of this beautiful piece and hopefully may it pull on your heartstrings as well.
