What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life? - arrangement by Joe Pass

This is my transcription and performance of Joe Pass' solo guitar version of the beautiful ballad "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?" from his album "Live at Donte's"). This particular version is also on one of Joe's "Best of Joe Pass" albums. Since "The Best of Joe Pass" album was my introduction to Joe's playing this was the first solo guitar tune I heard from him and how I came to greatly appreciate and respect this jazz guitar legend.

"'What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?' is a song with lyrics written by Alan Bergman and Marilyn Bergman and original music written by Michel Legrand for the 1969 film 'The Happy Ending'. The song was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song but lost out to 'Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head'" (Wikipedia).
