Away In a Manger - arrangement by Scott Kritzer

This is my performance of my transcription of Scott Kritzer's very beautiful arrangement of "Away In a Manger" from Scott's album "Classical Guitar Christmas". I really like the concept of a Christmas lullaby and this arrangement is simply gorgeous. "Away In a Manger" actually has two accompanying tunes to the lyrics ("Cradle Song" by William J. Kirkpatrick and "Mueller" by James R. Murray). Kirkpatrick's tune is popular in England and Murray's tune is popular in the United States. Interestingly, "Away In a Manger" was thought to have come from the German religious reformer Martin Luther but is now thought to be fully American in origin (Wikipedia). I hope you enjoy my performance of this very beautiful Christmas lullaby and arrangement from Scott Kritzer.
