Chordplay - The Chords Of 38 Special

Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords Of 38 Special. As I mentioned in the video - when you think of bands with great guitar parts, riffs, fills, and solos, you may not think of 38 Special first, but once you "check under the hood" and see what they have going on in their music, you'll instantly appreciate the mighty fine guitar-work of six-stringers Jeff Carlisi and Don Barnes from the band's glory days during the 1970s-1980s.

This lesson focuses on a number of two-guitar based songs and chord-based ideas, and while I'm using the TC Electronic Ditto loop pedal to help recreate some of these moments in this lesson - the real lesson to learn here is noticing what these guys were doing when orchestrating multiple guitar parts together and putting some of those ideas in your music and multi-part writing.
