Voting as a Privilege

Voting is a privilege and a right, and do we as Americans take that for granted? We see continued discourse during and after elections but are we as Americans forgetful of what a great system we have?
In 2002, Iraq voters “elected” Saddam at “100%, “and they were also considered a Republic, something Americans seem to not understand (even Senators who are up for re-election).

Is it possible the American people have ruined the election system and not America herself? Do we abuse our liberties, up to and including free speech and the right to choose nearly everything in our lives?
When you vote tomorrow, remember these words by Ronald Reagan: ““Just as important as how we vote is that we vote… Every time we vote we help to make America stronger.”
