3 Major Issues for Men and Medication: Side Effects, Sex, and Deployments

Medications for mental health can have benefits and downsides. Men often struggle with multiple side effects such as suicidal thoughts, irritability, drowsiness, low sex drive, erectile dysfunction or sexual dysfunction, importance, etc. To add to the stress, not all medications are able to be administered while on deployment. Further, if you work in the field of control towers or have to abide by FAA regulations you know that medication guidelines are incredibly rigid.

Erectile dysfunction is enough to demoralize any good man, let alone one who already suffers from ptsd, depression, or has an ongoing career in law enforcement, military, or first responder work.
