In most cases you'll need to run Torug's Pact with Crusher at the very least. But if you can get one of your healers to run it, that opens up a lot of different options for you.

Morag Tong is an excellent support set if you have a good number of stamina DDs, but doesn't give you anything in terms of survivability.

Akaviri Dragonguard is an excellent compromise between survivability and support, giving you some health and magicka recovery, but also allowing you to pump out more war horns.

Plague Doctor is the ultimate survivability set if nothing else is cutting it, but of course provides no group support.

The new tank set, Yolnahkriin, is the best in slot choice if you have it already and can fit it in with one of the sets above!

Other options could include Ebon or Worm.

The main tank doesn't use Alkosh in most Sunspire groups since you have to be extremely close to the boss in order for it to apply properly, but as mentioned in the video if you go too close you just get immediately knocked back. It makes more sense to put alkosh on a stamina DD throughout this trial.

If you're running a reasonably low health build like I do, you can slot Structured Entropy from the Mages Guild skill line on both bars, since you have quite a lot of flex slots, and this gives you a considerable passive health boost (as well as a small Heal over Time effect that you can activate if you want).

I always advise using tri-stat food, tri-stat potions and the Atronach mundus in Sunspire, I've tried a bunch of possible combinations otherwise and nothing felt quite as comfortable.

If you don't have Vykosa, go for some extra Health, and use something like 1pc Chokethorn / 1pc Shadowrend or Stonekeeper for extra magicka recovery to aid in your prolonged survivability. Earthgore also works, and Lord Warden could be very nice if you aren't a Nord with the extra passive resistances.
