vSS Lokkestiiz Hardmode | 5:15 Fight Time | Maintank PoV [Symbolic]

This is the fastest HM Lokkestiiz kill at the time of upload, and saving any additional time would be extremely difficult. We did have a couple of deaths, but both were during the add phases so we didn't actually lose very much time on the main boss. It took a long time to get to this point and now hopefully we can work on consistency as well as just having the fastest times!

I use the Defensive Stance skill to reflect the boss's Frostbolt attack while I outrange him, just like in the previous video I posted, which by itself contributes about 16k DPS on the boss. I run Torug's Pact with Crusher on a bow rather than a lightning staff, because I can't get in range to use a lightning staff effectively. I also run Yolnahkriin on both bars, to provide Minor Courage even when I'm using range taunt at the back of the room.

Slimecraw as the monster set gives me some additional damage, since all of the other typical options like lord warden, blood spawn etc. provide the group with no benefit. I have Champion Points which focus on direct magical damage and reaching the penetration cap, again to maximise damage because I don't need to buff my healing with Blessed.

Piercing Mark allows me to apply Major Fracture for the group without using Pierce Armor in melee range, which is unique to nightblade tanks, if you are doing this and not a nightblade you will want to make sure you have a stamina DK, stamina warden or magicka necromancer in the group just so fracture can be reliably up 100% of the time.
