Lambs everywhere

Into the lambing shed first thing to check all the ewes and lambs. We don't have much space anymore with all the small pens full, and the larger pens starting to get full. I moved a ewe who had just had two lambs into an individual pen.
It's still wet and muddy! I then went to get some silage bales loaded into the Lucas bale shredder so that the cows could get their breakfast. We are starting to run low on silage bales so hopefully the weather will improve soon and the grass starts growing fast!
Back to the lambing shed to do another check and tidy up the passage way. I then moved some ewes and lambs out to a field. All the lambs in the back of the Polaris Ranger, and the ewes in the trailer. They all sort themselves out quite quickly. It's a bit windy today!
Lunchtime and time to warm up. I fed all the ewes nuts later in the in the afternoon. A quick tidy up of the silage in the cow shed and i got the last of the cow nuts into bags and fed them too. Typical cloudy Scottish weather on the way home!
