Relaxing Wildlife in iSimangaliso | Ambient Music | Slow Motion

A peaceful morning self-drive through iSimangaliso Wetland Park, filmed on 12 February 2026 near St Lucia, South Africa.

We stayed at Leopard Tree Lodge in St Lucia and drove into iSimangaliso in the morning for a relaxed wildlife drive through one of South Africa’s most unique coastal reserves. iSimangaliso is known for its mix of coastal forest, grasslands, wetlands, Lake St Lucia and wildlife routes around the Eastern Shores and Cape Vidal area.

This video is edited as a calm, ambient wildlife film: mostly slow-motion footage, soft pacing, and a cinematic grade using a FilmBiasOffset LUT from RED. It is meant as easy watching — quiet safari moments, animals in the landscape, and the atmosphere of a warm morning drive through iSimangaliso.

Filmed with the Nikon ZR and the Nikkor 28-400mm lens.
