Night Drive in iSimangaliso | St Lucia Safari

Join us on a night drive through iSimangaliso Wetland Park, departing from St Lucia, South Africa, on 12 February 2026.

Our guide, Sakhile Dube, takes us into the park after dark, where the atmosphere completely changes. With only the spotlight cutting through the darkness, we search for nocturnal wildlife and end up spending most of the drive following hyenas at night.

Along the way we also see zebra, wildebeest, impala, chameleons and tiny frogs, showing a very different side of iSimangaliso compared to a daytime safari.

The video has a slow, suspenseful night-drive atmosphere, with ambient music and real wildlife moments from one of South Africa’s most unique protected areas.
