Baja Marimba Band - Baja Nova
Here's another soft latin instrumental by The Baja Marimba Band. The song is called "Baja Nova" (which was a clever play on words for the musical style; Bossa Nova). The song was written by Julius Wechter, the leader of The Baja Marimba Band. This tune is the exact same melody as "Warm" by Herb Alpert from 1969. Julius is, of course credited as the composer. Herb's version is more basic easy listening as opposed to this original, more Bossa Nova-Samba version. A musical delight from The Baja Marimba Band's early 1967 album Heads Up! I wasn't just exclaiming, the album title is really written that way :)
Happy Listening.
