The Jazz Crusaders - Jackson!

Hi. Well, I'm finally back with a new video. I think it's been a year since my last post. This video is called: "Jackson" by The Jazz Crusaders. The tune is written by trombonist Wayne Henderson and is from their 1970 album: "Old Socks New Shoes - New Socks Old Shoes." That was the last album where the guys billed themselves as The Jazz Crusaders. They dropped the "Jazz" from their name in about late 1970 right before they did an album called: "Pass The Plate."

This tune was the flip side of "Way Back Home" which was composed by the band's tenor saxophonist Wilton Felder. All tunes on the album were produced by Stewart Levine.

I made this video 3 years ago and uploaded it, but unfortunately it was blocked worldwide because of copyright issues. Hopefully that situation has changed. Nevertheless, it has been way too long since i put new content on my channel. I also love Jazz/Fusion and Rhythm and Blues.

Please share the joy with me of hearing a delightfully funky tune with great harmony between the instruments. No copyright infringement intended, just listening pleasure.
