The Monkees - Peter Percival Patterson / Pleasant Valley Sunday

Hey, I'm back with another Monkees video! I came across this one going through my old files. I made this video back in February, 2013. It's called: "Peter Percival Patterson's Pet Pig Porky / Pleasant Valley Sunday." This is from the Monkees' 4th album: "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn and Jones, Ltd." The hit version of this song (without Peter Tork's intro) was released in the summer of 1967 and became a big hit, peaking at number 3 on Billboard's Hot 100. The 45 record came out 4 months before the album was released. The medley appears just as it is on side 2 of the LP. Micky Dolenz' vocal in the second line in verse one is different than the 45 version. There's also some background vocals during the bridge which were not on the 45 version.

The audio of this video came from my personal copy of the "Pisces" CD. The pictures were downloaded from the internet. I also put a lot of my own designs into the video. No copyright infringement intended. Happy watching.
