Rod Liddle: 'great mass of the general public has no time for BBC idiocy'

Journalist Rod Liddle says "the great mass" of the British public "has no time whatsoever for idiocy" from the BBC.

Speaking to talkRADIO after a BBC Songs of Praise producer reportedly compared Rule Britannia to Nazis singing about how they 'will never be forced into a gas chamber', Rod expressed shock and dismay at "the bubble" he thinks the BBC find themselves in.

Mr Liddle recommended that people should try to read and learn from each other's opposing views, saying that many people in cities like London and Bristol are too metrocentric and this remains a problem for the BBC eveb after moving to the north West.
