The BBC might well be regretting their decision to ditch the lyrics of Proms favourites ‘Rule Britannia!’ and ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ at this years ‘scaled back’ Last Night of the Proms. The row doesn’t seem to be going anywhere - with the PM now calling time on our ‘cringing embarrassment’ of our history. Now, live on our show - Mr Brexit, Nigel Farage, has his say on the matter. But is the man who wants to ‘stick two fingers up’ to the BBC and sing anyway out of touch with 21st Century, ‘woke’, Britain? Passionate political campaigner Femi Oluwole certainly thinks so.
