K-Pop stars STAYC send fans wild at Ibrox in flying visit to Glasgow

IT'S the Korean crossover Scottish sport and music didn't know it needed.

But K-Pop stars STAYC certainly brought the crowds to Ibrox when they made a flying visit to Glasgow.

The Korean pop group are a global sensation and boast more than three million monthly listeners on Spotify.

And they are now regarded as celebrity fans of Rangers after a bizarre fashion faux pas in the USA.

The group donned vintage mid-90s Gers shirts for an appearance in Texas last month - rather than the hometown baseball team the Texas Rangers.

The gaffe was welcomed by Gers fans though with memories of the nine-in-a-row season and greats like Paul Gascoigne and Brian Laudrup in a crop-top version of the kits.

And quick to capitalise on the hilarious mix-up the group swung by the home of their new favourites en route to London - and picked up some more up to date gear.
