Homemade Camera Stabilizer / Gimbal, made from junk
I have seen a lot of these stabilizers on the web and on You Tube wanted to try and built my own and constructing it with all free stuff laying around so this is what I came up with. The handle is from a flash light the bearing is a timing belt idler pulley, the universal joint is from a front wheel drive steering coulomb the counter balance shaft is a piece of threaded rod and the weights are just sockets and the base is from an old hard drive. I'm not sure if I have the right concept the thing sways side to side a lot but forward and backward motion is fine. I think I'm going to try and build the one with the three baring and the counter weight straight down. Thanks for Watching please subscribe @kurtscottage Take Care
