Video shows player throwing basketball at opponent’s face
ALLEN, Okla. – A small Oklahoma town is in the spotlight after an incident at a basketball game on Friday led to some viral videos.
The videos were taken at a high school basketball game between Allen and Vanoss, and one video had nearly 182,000 views as of Monday.
In the video taken at Allen High School, a player from Allen can be seen throwing a ball at another player from Vanoss from a just a few feet away.
The ball hit the player in the face, and he fell to the ground.
Afterwards, the teen who threw the ball walks off before being handed the ball again.
The game then appears to continue.
Across Facebook, thousands of comments flooded in.
Many people called for disciplinary action for the teen who threw the ball.
