Cat Stevens - The Wind

Hey, I'm back with another video. This is my first Cat Stevens video. I made it 4 years ago, and I finally decided to put it on my channel. The song is one of his older, more acoustic tunes. The song is called: "The Wind," and it is the first track on his 1971 hit album "Teaser and the Firecat." The album became a million seller and peaked at number 2 on Billboard's Top 200 Album chart. The album also included 3 hit records (all located on side 2). They were: "Moon Shadow" (released in the summer, 1971, before the album), "Peace Train" simultaneously with the release of the album, and "Morning Has Broken" in early 1972. (The latter 2 were top ten hits).

"The Wind" must be a fan favorite because it can also be found on the greatest hits album "Footsteps in the Dark" released in 1984. In this video, the audio comes from my personal vinyl copy of "Teaser and the Firecat." Regarding the artist in question, I believe the early 1970's was Cat Stevens' most successful period.
