Voice referendum was a ‘divisive piece of legislation’: Pauline Hanson
One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says the Voice referendum was a “divisive piece of legislation”.
The Voice to Parliament referendum was defeated with 60 per cent of the population voting No.
“We have to realise that we are all Australians together in this country,” she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“Australians have open hearts and they don’t want to see any Australian, regardless of race, culture, creed or religion, to be treated any differently and we’re very warm to looking after other people.
“We’ve had this discussion before – I saw the referendum as a divisive piece of legislation, well it would have been if it was put into the constitution.”
