‘One small win’: Council’s huge backflip after controversial Australia Day decision

Sky News host Liz Storer has weighed in on a local council’s decision to move its Australia Day ceremonies back to January 26.

The City of Unley has voted to restore its ceremony and Australia Day awards to January 26, reversing last year’s decision to change the date.

This comes after a community survey requesting feedback revealed more than half of the respondents supported a return of events to the original date.
