‘Free trade is for free nations’: Democrats realise Trump ‘right’ on how to deal with China
Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says the Democrats are recognising Donald Trump was “right” on how to deal with China as “free trade is for free nations”.
“I think even Democrats are recognising now that Donald Trump was right on how to deal with China,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News host James Morrow.
“Trump’s attitude was you can’t treat them like you would treat Australia, England, France.
“Free trade is for free nations, not for communist nations, and that is now a bipartisan attitude in Washington DC.”
