Emergency services search through scene of partial building collapse in the Bronx

An apartment building has partially collapsed in the Bronx in New York.

Emergency services were called to the scene after the six-story building collapsed around 3:30 pm on Monday(local time).

Video and pictures from the scene show the destruction to the corner of the building as two walls have collapsed to the sidewalk down below, leaving several rooms inside the building exposed.

Rescue crew are actively searching for anybody who may be trapped.

It's unknown if there are any injuries.
