‘Pushing national unity’: Trump wants to ‘project strength’ at rally in Pennsylvania
Political analyst and commentator Aidan Smith says Donald Trump wants to “project strength” by “pushing national unity” when he returns to the site of his first assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.
Donald Trump will return to the site where a gunman attempted to assassinate him in Pennsylvania.
“For Trump, it makes sense why evading this horrific attack, coming out strong to his followers – it makes sense why he wants to lean into that to project strength, using the theme of pushing national unity,” Mr Smith told Sky News Australia.
