Dolly Parton pledges major donation towards Hurricane Helene relief

Singer Dolly Parton has pledged a major donation towards Hurricane Helene disaster recovery efforts in the United States.

The musician announced she and her business would donate $US1 million to affected communities.

Dolly Parton says she was “heartbroken” by the destruction, which also hit her home state of Tennessee.
