Can there be meaningful art under capitalism?
Is it even possible to do something meaningful with African cinema under consumer capitalism? Is everything always doomed to being commodified, mass produced and exploitative? Or, are there pathways opening up for there to be meaningful art under capitalism and is streaming one such pathway?
