DC Fast Charging Speed. The myths and the lies auto manufacturers tell you. It is NOT that fast.

EV manufacturers advertise DC fast charging speeds in many different ways. Why? To confuse you. To make it sound better. To make it look like it charges faster. But is more really faster? I explain a few things about DCFC in this video and give you a few examples.
Tesla is not always the fastest. The Chevy Bolt can be faster than others. Even 800 Volt battery architecture still struggles with DCFC. Learn to understand what the advertised charging speeds really are and mean for actual real life charging.
Tesla Supercharger, Electrify America, EVgo, Chargepoint, Blink charging, enelX, Shell Recharge are just some of the DCFC providers out there.
