Agility Ladder Drills After An Achilles Rupture

⚡️Agility-ish⚡️

We did it! I have been postponing starting agility training for a few weeks now, coming up with different excuses (my calf needs to be stronger, my calf raise is not high enough, I don't want a setback, my foot hurts this week etc.) It's amazing how many ways we can put hurdles in our own way.

Before starting agility ladder drills you should have:
✅ sufficient calf strength, you need to be able to stay up on your toes
✅ started a running program
✅ done some basic plyometric training including jumping and landing
✅ get the 👍 from your physio

It definitely looks 100x better on camera compared to how it felt. The weirdest thing about this injury is how much effort it still takes to stay up on your toes even 6-8 months after the injury! But this is a good start. We will keep working on calf strength and power so I can go from 🐢 to 🐇 speed!

🙌 Kudos to Hayl for making me do it and get over my mental hurdles.
