An unforgetable winter holiday in Lapland Sweden! We were blessed we were able to see the natural phenomena of the Northern Lights. The best time to see the northern lights in Swedish Lapland is after 10pm.
Top 7 things you can do in lapland:
Husky sled, snow scooter, ice fishing, visit the reindeers farm, snow shoe walk, langlauftocht (ski walk) and of course the Northern Light. If you are more adventures, you can even go on a husky rides for 2 nights. There are travel agency conducting such trip 3 days 2 nights with the huskies. Visiting the snow village is a plus. Everything in that hotel is carved out of ice. Even the bar. The drink is served in a shot glass made of ice too! Husky sleding is one of the best experience for me. The huskies are full of energy and they just want to run. One good advice: Never let go of the sled otherwise they will go without you!!
